This Policy applies to all users of Stirva’s web application and related services, regardless of geographical location, though Stirva is governed primarily by the laws of Ontario, Canada and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
By using the Services, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside of Ontario, including the United States, where some of our third-party service providers are located.

Payment information: provided via Stripe (Stirva does not store raw payment card details).

Usage data: pages visited, features accessed, time spent.
Analytics data through Google Analytics (aggregated traffic, demographics, and behavior patterns).
2.3. Information from Third Parties
Payment confirmation from Stripe.
AI-powered outputs generated via OpenAI.
Marketing and Transactional email preferences and campaign engagement through Twilio.
Application hosting and infrastructure performance data through Bubble.io.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
Provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
Process subscription payments and manage billing.
Enable recipe management, storefronts, and order tracking.
Deliver AI-powered assistance features.

4. Email Marketing and Consent

Even if you unsubscribe from marketing, we may continue to send you transactional or service-related emails (e.g., billing notices, feature updates).

If you cancel your subscription, your account will remain active until the end of the billing period. Data will not be deleted automatically but may be deleted upon your request via account settings or by contacting us.
We may retain certain information for up to twelve (12) months after cancellation for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

We use appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

While Stirva is based in Ontario, Canada, users worldwide may access the Service. If you use the Service outside Canada, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada or other countries where our service providers operate.
Some third-party service providers (e.g., Stripe, OpenAI, Bubble.io) store or process data outside Canada, including the United States. By using the Services, you consent to such transfers, which may be subject to different privacy laws.

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it promptly.
